“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
Those were the words of Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motors – and it’s also the premise of Cloud28+, the ever-expanding global community of cloud service providers, resellers, independent software vendors, and system integrators partnered together to accelerate cloud adoption.
Cloud28+ enables members to find the right cloud service for their precise needs based on price, locality, SLA needs and many other factors, providing businesses with a fast track to transform to hybrid IT and access one of the world’s largest communities for cloud services and software developers.
It brings vendor and service provider members work together to drive best practice and the successful implementation of digital transformation across any industry.
The easy to navigate, centralised enterprise app store features 1300+ cloud services from close to 400 Cloud28+ members across Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service offerings. Partners include BT, Intel, Telefonica and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Being an open community, enterprise users can also sleep easy in the knowledge that there is no vendor lock-in.
Going Global
Following its catalogue launch in Europe in 2015, the initiative has recently expanded globally including North and South America and Asia.
Partners from all regions can now participate in the existing community or join forces with member organisations in their geographic regions to create sister communities tied to the same cloud services catalogue.
We recently spoke to Cloud28+ leading light Xavier Poisson, Vice President, WW Indirect Digital Services at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, to talk about the expansion and what the catalogue offers global business customers.
