HPE’s Pointnext promises to deliver the holy grail of every modern business – accelerated digital transformation.
Pointnext, Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s repackaged and refreshed technology services business marks a fresh determination from the firm to deliver end to end digital transformation to customers across every vertical.
By bringing together the best of their expertise and consultancy in cloud, compute and IoT, Pointnext not only offers HPE customers their own technology; it enables them to tap into HPE’s rich partner ecosystem too. This includes technology from recent acquisitions like Simplivity, Niara and Nimble Storage, software from their ISV partners like SAP and Microsoft as well as trendy, developer-centric offerings by the likes of Mesosphere and Docker. HPE is also one of a chosen few vendors offering access to Microsoft Azure Stack, giving customers a seamless public/private experience for those using Microsoft’s cloud.
“We have the expertise” says Marc Waters, HPE’s Managing Director for UK&I. “Our people know and understand these technologies and the benefit they can bring to customers in their digital transformation journey. They understand our technology and innovation underneath that; and they can work in an advise, design and implement capacity.”
In the first of a two part interview with our Clare Forestier, we spoke to Marc about how Pointnext is able to integrate and optimise digital solutions for every kind of business at unprecedented speed and efficiency.
By promising customers access to the ‘intellectual property’ of thousands of hybrid IT deployments worldwide, Hewlett Packard Enterprise are able to speed up full scale digital transformation and help customers harness the technology that’s right for their precise needs. The aim is to maximise enterprise return from their hybrid IT, mobile solutions and real-time data projects to enhance customer experience, deliver new digital products and services at speed, as well as improve core operations.
Pointnext is broken down into three core functions – Advisory & Transformation, Professional Services and Operational. At its core, Pointnext offers companies a route to end-to-end digital adoption and HPE collaborates with organisations to bring their technology projects to life.
